TV SYD

Dissing+Weitling has teamed up with NCC, Grontmij and Tegnestuen Mejeriet, and together they have pre-qualified to participate in the turnkey contract competition to build a new television station for TV SYD in Kolding.

The 3,000 m² television station is to be built in Nordic Synergy Park in Kolding and create the framework for a modern, future-oriented station with the facilities to improve the quality of the programme production for the benefit of employees and viewers alike.

Dissing+Weitling has a strong profile within the media industry, and with projects such as the new Media House for the Danish National Broadcasting Corporation and TV2's news studio at Copenhagen Central Station, the office has accumulated knowledge and expertise within modern media architecture.

A total of five teams have been selected to submit tenders for this project, and the station must be ready for broadcasting towards the end of 2012.
