Eckersberg Medal 2011

The Danish Royal Academy of Fine Arts awarded the Eckersberg Medal to architect Poul Ove Jensen, the long-standing head of the bridge department of Dissing+Weitling architecture, who has put his stamp on bridges all over the world.

European Copper in Architecture Award

Dissing+Weitling were awarded a commendation at the European Copper in Architecture 14 Award Ceremony in London on the 29th September 2009 for Frederikskaj , their residential project located on the Copenhagen Harbourfront.

The judges consider the project “a slickly designed, unified entity that sets the standard for high-density urban housing. The understated but beautifully detailed copper skin gives the building a feeling of solidity appropriate to its industrial location".
