Intern, fall 2019:
DISSING+WEITLING is looking for architectural interns with the desire to work with concept development, sketching and model making of bridge design and building concepts.
We work on projects in Denmark and many other parts of the world and we value being a team of diverse culture and nationalities. Our portfolio comprises iconic bridges and buildings, mobility projects as well as the renovation of cultural heritages. No matter the scale, we strive to make a positive impact on urban environment and everyday life.
We offer our interns a versatile job with plenty of opportunity to acquire new skills while at the same time advancing your own talents. Maybe you have a great understanding of materials and models? Maybe you are fascinated about urban solutions? Or maybe you are passionate about the idea of creating the world’s best working and living environments?
During your internship, you will get the chance to try out some of your own ideas as well as work closely together with the studio’s experienced architects – to learn from the best!
We work in programs such as Rhino, 3ds Max, Sketch Up, AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe CS. We have a workshop featuring laser cutters and 3D plotters dedicated to the creation of models. In addition to this, we create digital models and renderings in VR.
We expect you to begin in September and to stay for at least five months. In return for your efforts, we can offer free lunch and a basic salary.
