Culture

DISSING+WEITLING architecture has over the past 10 years been appointed as the House Architect for several of the capital’s culturally historic institutions including the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Folketinget, Novo Nordisk and Denmark’s National Bank and most recently a collaboration with Carlsberg. In addition, DISSING+WEITLING architecture, as a continuation of the famous Danish architect Arne Jacobsen’s studio, has undertaken several renovations of his architecture. The company’s legacy from Arne Jacobsen has meant an equal focus on details and architecture as a whole - creating solutions maintaining the building’s unique architectural and cultural heritage in conjunction with the desire of upgrading to modern workplace conditions, improving indoor air quality and accessibility, reducing energy use and maintaining, replacing and refurbishing major building components.
